(https://www.wpl-legal.com/) announces that Cathrine Hunter, Esq., an Associate and Director of Operations for the Firm, has been inducted into the Estate Planning Council of Naples. Hunter was inducted into this prestigious organization last month, joining the 128 members of the Council, which include Estate and Taxation Attorneys, Certified Public Accountants, Trust Company Officers, Chartered Life Underwriters and Certified Financial Planners.
Formed in 1972, the Estate Planning Council of Naples (http://www.epcofnaples.org/) is a not-for-profit interdisciplinary organization, encompassing professionals involved in estate planning. The Council encourages members to enhance their skills through continuing education, create awareness of estate planning in the community and assists its members in focusing on the ultimate goal of providing superior professional service to the community. The Council also seeks to involve its members, sharing resources and levels of expertise, bringing together the best talents to solve specific problems and find sustainable solutions.
A graduate of the University of Florida, Levin College of Law with an L.L.M. in Taxation and from Stetson University College of Law with a J.D., Hunter focuses her practice on estate planning, taxation and employment law. Her estate planning practice includes wills, trusts, designations of healthcare surrogate, living wills and powers of attorney. She is also active in health care law, including HIPAA, the HITECH Act and the Omnibus Rule. She is an active member of the community, involved in the First Christian Church Homeless Ministry and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
