Filmed in 1958 in Everglades City and the surrounding area, the movie will take you back in time before the modern development that surrounds us, as Bud Schulberg tells the story of Bud Kirk and Kathryn (Kappy) Hazel Stephens Kirk (Tommie Barfield’s niece).
“Wind Across the Everglades” is filled with Hollywood stars who descended on this area to produce this very special look into South Florida’s history. So get ready for an exciting look back at our own history and our founding families.
