Naples, Florida, July 2nd, 2019– Southwest Florida law firm, Woodward, Pires & Lombardo, P.A. announces that Joseph Coleman has been elected to the Florida Bar Young Lawyer’s Division Board of Governors. Coleman was elected at their meeting last month, and was inducted at the Florida Bar Annual Conference in Boca Raton at the end of June. Coleman, along with Kayla Richmond, will serve as the two Governors for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit in the State of Florida. Throughout the State of Florida, fewer than 80 lawyers are elected to serve on the Young Lawyer’s Board of Governors, making this a huge honor for Coleman.
Coleman’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, including contract interpretation and enforcement, libel and slander issues, conversion and civil theft disputes, and copyright and trademark registration and litigation. He speaks about being elected into the Young Lawyer’s Board of Governors and what it means to be a part of this organization.
“It’s a tremendous honor to have the privilege to serve Collier County as its ambassador on the Young Lawyers Board of Governors. I look forward to serving as we collectively try to address such pressing issues as student loan debt, mental health and wellness issues, helping law students transition to the practice of law and addressing new changes in business and the law. This includes the benefits and challenges of artificial intelligence and increased automation, blockchain and cryptocurrencies, virtual and augmented reality, and data mining, privacy and analytics,” he explains.
